Product Care

In order to keep your pieces looking fabulous, it is advisable to avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hand sanitizer and any chemicals. Try to put your jewelry on last. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the bath, shower, hot tub or swimming.

Stretch Bracelets 

Our Bracelets are hand crafted using only the highest quality gemstone + stone beads, metal findings and stretch string. The stretchy string that is used is very durable and meant to last for as long as you love your piece of jewelry.  Dust with a dry cloth.

Brass

This lovely metal will oxidize to a lovely dark brass colour. It may happen over a single wearing or gradually over several wearing. This is a natural occurrence of this metal.
You can clean with a brass cleaner – but I personally love the warm patina that develops over time.

Copper

Similar to brass – copper will darken over time and change its patina. You could clean, but I personally love the warm patina that develops over time. 

 Sterling Silver

Sterling Silver 925 will naturally tarnish over time. To keep it shiny, polish with a silver cleaning cloth and store in a sealed bag.

14K Gold Filled

Our high quality 14K gold fill pieces have the same appearance as high carat gold and properly cared for* 14K gold filled jewelry will stand up to being worn every day for a lifetime. The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 15 to 25 times thicker than that produced by gold electroplate. 14K gold fill is also nickel free and hypoallergenic. Dust with a dry cloth.

Gold Plated / Silver Plated / Plated

Plated pieces have been dipped and then sealed. Time will naturally cause the plating to fade. In order to preserve the plating, we recommend avoiding contact with perfume, lotions, hand sanitize or any chemicals. Try to put your jewelry on last. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the bath, shower, hot tub or swimming. Dust with a dry cloth.

Semi Precious | Precious Stones

Although most stones are naturally strong, even a diamond can break if dropped or neglected. To prevent chipping or breakage of your stones, handle with care and remove and store appropriately when not in use. Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hand sanitizer and any chemicals. Try to put your jewelry on last. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the bath, shower, hot tub or swimming.  Dust with a dry cloth.

Opals

Our Opals are natural and untreated, just as nature created them. As such, they can be Divas in that they are very susceptible to colour change/loss if they come in contact with substances.  They like to absorb any liquid type substance, like face cream or body lotion.  Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, hand sanitizer and any chemicals. Try to put your jewelry on last. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the bath, shower, hot tub or swimming.  Dust with a dry cloth.
